We have received a special request and thought it might be useful for other families. Here is a version of Zac Browser with an exit button on the top right corner.

I downloaded the Zac browser with the exit button, it is very good and more easier to exit the browser. Thank you.:D

Thank you! When my son first began using Zac Browser I was relieved that he could not just exit out, however now that he is so accustomed to the computer and he is also a few years older, he is able to just exit out when he is finished. This is a simple convenience for me since we share a computer. Thanks John!

Hello all. Just found Zac Browser and it looks good. My little boy has zero verbal expression and an unknown level of verbal understanding and interpretation. He obviously can't read, but somehow he can do stuff on a computer with a standard right handed mouse (even though he's a southpaw). Currently I spend a great deal of time (only small hours though;)) tailoring a desktop (easier before moving off Ubuntu to Win7) with iconed shortcuts to DVD ripped.ISOs>VLC, iconed URL shortcuts to cbeebies index pages and to boowaetc and various favorite clips downloaded from youtube.
The shutcuts get thrown around the screen and lost over the edge by his inadvertant dragndropping. So I was getting into developing a mandatory profile for him to keep the desktop static.....another layer of work.
Then yesterday Zac Browser came with all the stuff I've been trying to provide....great stuff.

I've shown familiar bits to my little boy and he's ok with it....completely ignoring the new interface, which is what I'd hoped for (sorry:rolleyes:).
    BUT....
George knows about the x in the corner and wants to close the window (to pick another icon). The x is not there ...good... he can't get into that loop he sometimes does, of continually opening and closing windows. ....bad.... he knows he what he wants to do and the control is not there and thats frustration.

He MAY get used to and work within zac he may not.
    This exit button may help.
But how about a dynamic toggle? Ctrl/L makes the button appear/disappear.

There you go, I got there in the end!

Thanks all for this facility.....I'm going to get to know it and help if I can.
